Public Consultation - Children, Young People & Families Wellbeing Model

The way the council delivers the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme and Early Help services in Cumbria is changing. We would like to offer you the opportunity to give us your feedback on our proposals for a new integrated Children, Young People and Families Wellbeing Model. We are proposing to develop an approach based around Family Hubs to deliver the services and interventions needed to ensure that children, young people and their families have the right support at the right time.

The public consultation on the redesigned 0 – 19 Healthy Child Programme and Early Help services is now live – and more information about the consultation and how to respond can be found via this link https://cumbria.citizenspace.com/cumbria-county-council/children-young-people-and-families-wellbeing-model/

Please feel free to share this email and the link with other colleagues and partners as you think appropriate.  It is important that we hear from as many people as possible about the proposals and our plans.   In addition to the opportunity to respond online, we will also be attending various meetings in January and February where you will be able to feedback. There will also be 6 public consultation events (Developing Excellent Early Help) – dates for these can be found at above link.

If you think that there is a specific meeting we should attend to present the model, please let us know by emailing Transformation.Team@cumbria.gov.uk

In the meantime, if there are any other questions  you have about the proposals and this consultation process, please do not hesitate to contract the project group via Transformation.Team@cumbria.gov.uk
