Developing Excellent Early Help

support

In September 2017 Cumbria LSCB launched its Early Help Strategy.  We want to know if you think it is working.  We want know what you think Excellent Early Help looks like.

Early Help means identifying needs within families early, and providing preventative support and intervention before problems become complex and entrenched.

Are we getting this right in Cumbria?

Cumbria LSCB are holding six district based events to enable knowledge sharing to support the development of an Excellent Early Help System. The sessions start at 1.30pm and we aim to finish at 4pm.

Cumbria County Council would also like to give your feedback on future services and the proposed Children, Young People and Family's Wellbeing Model. They have an exciting opportunity to design a Family Hub model to deliver the services and interventions needed to ensure that children, young people and their families have the right support at the right time. As part of this process Cumbria County Council want to ensure that there has been thorough opportunity to engage and consult with the public - including children, young people and families, other services and stakeholders, current providers and internal CCC services to enrich and animate the model with new ideas, critical challenge and curiosity. The last hour of these events will be an opportunity to do that.
