Early Help Process Feedback Survey

feedback

As part of our Ofsted Improvement Plan following inspection we are looking to increase the level of communication with families about the Early Help process.

This will allow us to hear a bit more about areas we need to strengthen as well as the areas that are working well.

Therefore from 1st September when an Early Help Assessment is closed we will be sending a feedback questionnaire to the family for their response.  This questionnaire will not identify families or the individual staff member working with them, but will record feedback on the Early Help process.

Update on Early Help Documentation

eh docs

We are continually reviewing the Early Help documentation to respond to feedback from people using them in their day to day work with families. Often it is only in using the process that some of the problems are highlighted and we do respond where appropriate to issues raised by frontline staff. As well as this we need to keep up with changes in the wider range of systems eg updating the layout of the Early Help Assessment Form to reflect the development of Signs of Safety and  changes in GDPR requirements relating to data sharing and consent. We have used the quieter summer months to do this. There should be no changes that require you to work in a different way – often it is one line on a document. It highlights the benefit of taking forms from the LSCB Website rather than saving to your own local system as this will  not always provide you with the most up to date format.
