Autism Awareness Campaign
launched. Autism
is an invisible disability that affects 1 in 100 people. With the right
support, they can achieve amazing things! Autism West Midlands is working in
partnership with Birmingham City Council to raise awareness of autism.

Health is now the responsibility of Birmingham City Council. We would like your
views on our lifestyle services, which include: Stop Smoking services, NHS
Health Checks, Healthy Eating/Weight Management, Physical Activity and Health
Trainers.
Kick-start
spring with a free month of fitness! This April we are giving
you the opportunity to try our classes free. With more than 500 classes a week,
why not try something different? New customers who join in April will also get
their first month free.
Proposals
for a pilot 20mph speed limit scheme – designed to
demonstrate the road safety and wider benefits of lower speed limits, and
covering significant parts of central, east and south Birmingham were approved
by the city council’s cabinet on March 17. Watch the report at Scrutiny Committee here.
Birmingham
unites cities to tackle social inequality in a new national
network set up by the Leader of Birmingham City Council and the Bishop of
Birmingham.
