We thought you should be among the first to find out about the brand new “Camping” license plate.

This new plate is a tribute to all who love camping in Texas State Parks. With its bright-yellow tent, campfire and star-filled sky, the plate evokes memories of those special times filled with family, friends, outdoor cooking, story-telling and more.

Keep Your Camping Memories Alive 

Now you can show your love of camping and support Texas State Parks by sporting this new plate on your car, truck, motorcycle, trailer or RV.   

  • Only $30*/year – that’s less than a tank of cost! 
  • Benefits Texas State Parks – $22 from the sale of each plate goes directly to state parks.

How to get your new “Camping” license plate 

  • Easy to order: order online or at your local county tax office.
  • No need to wait: You do not have to wait for your vehicle registration renewal notice to order a plate.

P.S. The Texas State Parks Bluebonnet license plate is still available and also benefits Texas State Parks. Funds raised from sales of the Bluebonnet plate and the new Camping plate are used for park operations and enhanced visitor programs in more than 90 Texas state parks across Texas.
