The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) is the region’s largest public transit provider, offering safe, reliable and affordable transportation services about 370,000 times per day. METRO Schedule Changes for 2015 Houston Chevron Marathon

METRO will follow this schedule (available online at ridemetro.org) for the Houston Chevron Marathon on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015.  

On-line map of METRO Service for Marathon

WHERE:  Between Preston Station (northbound) platform and UH-Downtown Station; Main Street Square north and southbound platforms

EVENT: Chevron Houston Marathon

FREQUENCY: Trains to run every 18 minutes 

NO SERVICE:  6 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. between Preston Station northbound platform and UH-Downtown station

NO SERVICE:  6 a.m. - 2 p.m. between Main Street Square northbound and southbound platforms (McKinney and Lamar)

NOTE:  

Customers exiting at Main Street Square platforms should walk the block (between McKinney and Lamar) to reach the Main Street Square north and southbound platforms to continue their trip at no additional charge.
