MEDIA BRIEFING FOR NORTH RAIL OPENING

METRORail will celebrate the opening of its newest line - the North/Red Line - a 5.3 mile extension of the current Main St./Red Line on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 11:30 AM to 5 PM at Moody Park. Because of the number of people expected to attend this free concert celebration and the novelty of light rail in this residential and business environment, METRO is reaching out to local media to help spread the message of safety along with the celebration.

This briefing will include a rail trip to and from 1900 Main to Moody Park along the new line.
