METRO Honors Fallen Heroes by Supporting Wreaths Across America

METRO is continuing its partnership with  "Wreaths Across America" by providing convenient transportation to Houston National Cemetery Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015.  METRO will operate service between N. Shepherd Park & Ride and Houston National Cemetery every 10 minutes from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $1.25 each way.

METRO is proud to be part of an event that remembers the enormous sacrifices our veterans have made and to share in the community's tribute to military personnel whose contributions ensure our freedom and safety each and every day.

The mission of  "Wreaths Across America"  is to remember, honor and teach.  It is carried out by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies every December at veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond.
