Fun, Family, Food and Fierce Competition at 2015 METRO Bus Rodeo

The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) held its annual METRO Rodeo and Family Day Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at the Field Service Center.  METRO employees boarded buses and competed in a challenging obstacle course.  There was also a kids competition, BBQ cook-off, games for all ages, and a health fair.

Friday, Oct. 9 television traffic reporters from several media outlets competed in the bus obstacle course.  Click here to see them in action.

METRO Bus Operators, METROLift Operators and Bus Cleaners all navigated this difficult obstacle course in the hopes of bringing home the trophy and advancing to the national competition.

Some of the youngest members of the METRO family also got in on the fun with face painting, driving bus simulators and shooting hoops.
