METRO Makes Right Turn to Better Service and Helps Riders Navigate New Bus Network

The first weekday of METRO's New Bus Network began a new age in public transportation for the region. This new system marked Phase 1 of a five year plan to improve mobility for the area. METRO staff, board members and the president and CEO were up before daybreak handing out water donated by H-E-B and ensuring riders had a smooth transition to the 78 updated local bus routes, including 22 bus routes scheduled to run every 15 minutes or better.
