METRO Board Members, President/CEO Help Riders Navigate New Bus Network

Monday morning brought more frequent local bus routes for tens of thousands of METRO bus riders across the region.  Those who needed a little extra help navigating the New Bus Network were met by METRO staff, supervisors, street teams, board members and the president and CEO, who answered questions, handed out schedules, bottles of water and even walked riders right to their bus.

Key features of the New Bus Network include 22 bus routes scheduled to run every 15 minutes or better at least 18 hours a day, seven days a week on major streets, serving neighborhoods, jobs, education, medical care and retail.

METRO customers are encouraged to use the METRO T.R.I.P. app, Next Bus Arrival Texting and the Customer Care line at 713-635-4000 to assist them with routes.
