ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED BY MPD

Citizens' tips helped officers locate suspect

METRO police arrested aggravated robbery suspect Abdul Khalid Sneed last night after receiving several tips from the community.  The 19-year-old was taken into custody at an apartment at 2901 Fulton where he  was found with friends. He is one of two suspects wanted in connection with the early morning robbery and assault of a woman at METRORail's Fulton station (2550 Fulton). 

Sneed was reportedly armed at the time of the attack. The victim, whose identity was not released, was transported by ambulance from the scene with non-life threatening injuries. 

Sneed, and a 15-year-old female accomplice, are accused of taking the victim's belongings during the course of the assault. Once the girl is located she will be charged with aggravated robbery.
