METRO POLICE SEARCH FOR ROBBERS

Surveillance cameras provide photos of person of interest

The male pictured here and an unknown female are reported to have to have robbed and attacked a woman at METRORail's Fulton/North Central Station (2550 Fulton) around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, June 25.

The shirtless male suspect reportedly choked his female victim and slammed her on the rail track where she lost consciousness. METRORail was not in service at the time of the attack. The suspect and his companion are said to have taken the victim's belongings and were last seen running northbound on Fulton.

The male suspect was reportedly armed at the time of the attack. The victim, whose identity has not been determined, was transported by ambulance from the scene. Her injuries were not life threatening.
