The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) is the region’s largest public transit provider, offering safe, reliable and affordable transportation services about 370,000 times per day. METRO operates more than 1,200 buses, and METRO's New Bus Network is coming August, 2015. For a good picture of where we are headed see our new system map. Public Hearings on METRO's New Bus Network Proposed Service Changes Begin Today

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority of Harris County (METRO) will host two public hearings today and Friday to receive comment regarding METRO’s New Bus Network. Proposed changes are intended to provide customers with more reliable, efficient and cost-effective service and to provide additional capacity where it is needed most.  

The first hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 3. The second hearing will take place at 12:00 p.m., Friday, June 5. Both hearings will be held at METRO Headquarters, 1900 Main St., Houston, Texas 77002 in the 2nd floor Board Room.

  • METRO New Bus Network Operator Maps
  • Proposed Saturday Schedules
  • Proposed Sunday Schedules
  • Proposed Weekday Schedules
