METRO Runs Limited Afternoon & Evening Service -- Full Service Resumes Tomorrow

METRO will continue limited bus and rail operations for the rest of today.  Some flooding still exists across our region and travel will be reserved for areas deemed safe.

All three light-rail lines are in operation with trains now running every 12 minutes.

Local bus service is limited to major routes:

40 Pecore/Telephone

50 Harrisburg/Heights

52 Scott/Hirsch

56 Airline

65 Bissonnet

77 Liberty/MLK

81 Sharpstown

82 Westheimer

Park and Ride and HOV/HOT Lane service is cancelled today.

METROLift is offering medically necessary trips and taking reservations for tomorrow from noon to 8 p.m.

METRO will continue to monitor weather conditions and adjust service as needed today.  METRO plans to return normal service Wednesday, May 27.
