Proposed Listing of Yellow-Billed Cuckoo - Comments due Dec. 2, 2013
On Oct. 3, 2013, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposed listing the yellow-billed cuckoo in the western portions of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico (western yellow-billed cuckoo) as a threatened distinct population segment under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). If finalized, this rule would extend ESA protections to the western yellow-billed cuckoo.
