Hello!  Please review this email for important information about OWEB’s upcoming grant cycle.
For the Monday, April 21, 2014, deadline, OWEB will accept Restoration, Technical Assistance and Technical Assistance for Watershed Council Action Plan applications. These grants support voluntary efforts by Oregonians to protect and restore healthy watersheds, including actions in support of the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds and the Oregon Conservation Strategy. Thank you for all you do for Oregon’s watersheds and communities.

Changes for All Applications

All sections of the application, including budget forms, must use the January 2014 forms posted on the OWEB Grant Management System (OGMS).  OWEB’s budget categories, including eligible and ineligible project types and costs, have changed.  OWEB will not accept applications that are submitted using previous forms.
  °  Download applications from OGMS.
    · To access OGMS without a login and password, go to http://apps.wrd.state.or.us/apps/oweb/fiscal/nologin.aspx. Alternately, use the generic login: grantee; and the generic password: oweb.  
    ·  If you have an OGMS login and password, when you login you will see the April 2014 applications listed on your home page.

OWEB’s budget categories, including eligible and ineligible project types and costs, have changed. Review eligible and ineligible project types and costs in the January 2014 Budget Categories Definitions and Policies.
Plan ahead to meet the deadline.  Applications must arrive at OWEB’s Salem office by 5:00 PM, Monday, April 21, 2014. Late applications will not be accepted.
Important Guidance for Technical Assistance for Watershed Council Action Plans
Who can applyAny council that does not have a council action plan AND has previously received its own individual watershed council support grant from OWEB
There is a $25,000 cap for TA for Watershed Council Action Plan applications.

There is a $50,000 cap for Technical Assistance applications, as there has been in previous cycles.
