Service Alert: Mall/SW 5th Ave MAX Station to close starting May 11
TriMet sent this bulletin at 05/05/2015 06:00 PM PDTStarting Monday, May 11, construction for our new electronic fare (e-fare) system moves to Mall/SW 5th MAX Station. Work will last about a week and the station will be closed during this time. Please catch Blue and Red line trains at the Morrison/SW 3rd or the Pioneer Square North stations. Sidewalks alongside the station will remain open.
Construction will also continue next week at stations on Interstate Avenue. These stations will remain open and served by trains during construction.
Work hours will be from 7 a.m. through 6 p.m., Monday–Saturday. Expect some noise from saw cutting, jackhammering and excavation. Nearby businesses will remain open during construction.
