I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful summer. I wanted to remind you that you’re invited to an End of Session Town Hall that I am co-hosting with Senator Laurie Monnes Anderson, this Thursday, August 8 at 6:30 p.m.
We’ve accomplished some great things this session, including increasing our investment in K-12 education by $1 billion, passing an unprecedented audit to bring more accountability to TriMet, and creating a task force to identify ways to increase the availability of child care for students at our community colleges.
This town hall will give us an opportunity to discuss these accomplishments and more, so I hope you’ll join us.
