As a parent and a teacher, I know how important our schools are and as your representative I am working to strengthen our schools so they provide a better education for our children.
That’s why I want to invite you to a Community Town Hall on Education on Tuesday, March 19. I’ll be joined by several guests including Representative Peter Buckley, who helped write the Co-Chair's budget that was released on March 4, and Gresham-Barlow Superintendent Jim Schlachter.
The panel will talk briefly about the state of K-12 education in Oregon and then we'll answer your questions. I hope I’ll see you there.
