Happy Mother's Day! As we celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend, I’m reflecting on the strength, sacrifice, and everyday courage of mothers across Oregon.
Whether raising children, caring for aging parents, working long hours, or holding our communities together — mothers are often the ones quietly carrying the load.
I know this firsthand. As a mom of three, I’ve felt the weight of hard choices, the ache of uncertainty, and the hope that tomorrow will be just a little bit better.
I also know that too many families in Oregon are being stretched to the limit. Between the rising cost of living, lack of access to basic services, and policies that just don’t reflect real life — I hear from moms every week who are doing everything right and still feel like they’re falling behind.
That’s why I’m in this fight. Not for politics, not for headlines — but for families. For stability. For a future where raising a family in Oregon doesn’t feel like a battle every day.
To every mother who’s stayed up late worrying, worked overtime without recognition, or made something out of nothing — I see you.
And I’m working for you.
