Happy New Year and we hope 2021 has started off favorably for you and your families. I’d like to invite you to my first virtual town hall of the year.
Senator Lynn Findley, Representative Daniel Bonham and I are hosting a joint virtual town hall on Thursday, January 14 from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM PDT to kick off the new year with you and provide a preview of the upcoming legislative session.
We'll discuss the upcoming legislative session, schools and businesses, issues in our communities and your priorities for us as your legislative leaders going forward.
We have learned a lot from you during these town halls, and we want to hear from you and give you an opportunity to ask questions, share what's on your mind and provide input on how we can best represent you. We encourage you to submit your questions in advance to me via email at rep.markowens@oregonlegislature.gov. In addition, there will be opportunities to use the Q&A features or ask your question live during the virtual town hall.
You can join us via Zoom to participate in the live town hall (the best option) or watch via Facebook Livestream. If you decide to participate via Zoom, you must register prior to attending the event.
