Saturday & Sunday: Two Constituent Events!

Friends and Neighbors,

This morning, the Joint Ways & Means Committee passed SB 454, the Paid Sick Days legislation. This is HUGE. We'll be voting on the bill on the Senate floor sometime next week, with a House floor vote following shortly. This legislation will make a tremendous difference for workers across Oregon. It's been a long struggle by many folks to get us to this point, and I can't wait to lead the floor debate in support of the bill next week.

Two (!) Constituent Events This Weekend

In addition to our regular First-Saturday-of-the-month coffee, I will also be co-hosting a constituent event this Sunday with Rep. Alissa Keny-Guyer. In my last newsletter, the date for the latter event was incorrect. Here's the right info:
