Child Abuse Assessment Bill Signed

I had the opportunity this session to chief sponsor legislation that will provide additional funding to child abuse assessment centers across the state. HB 2234 will require health insurers to reimburse these child abuse assessment centers for every assessment and medical service they provide. The bill has garnered overwhelming support while passing both houses, and I am excited to announce that the Governor signed the measure last week officially making it law!
