United States Marine Lance Corporal Nathan Windsor (1986-2007) served as an infantryman in Iraq. He died near Fallujah, Iraq in 2007 while successfully warning his platoon of an ambush. Because of his efforts, no one else besides Nathan died. I have had the honor of sponsoring SCR 12 to memorialize Nathan Windsor for the hero he is. SCR 12 will name a portion of Highway 101 after Nathan. I had the opportunity to testify in favor of SCR 12 this past Thursday.
