The ODVA is please to release the OrVet Plus 97% LTV home loan program. In participation with MGIC, ODVA takes an additional step towards offering a true minimum down payment loan to our Oregon Veteran buyers. While the maximum Loan-to-Value cannot exceed 97%, if the Veteran borrower meets certain eligibility criteria as outlined below, the 3% down payment, plus closing costs, may be gifted from a viable source. This feature provides for a highly qualified Oregon veteran to achieve the goal of home ownership without cash from his/her own assets.
