 Hello friends of Safe Routes to School in Oregon,
We wanted to remind you about Winter Walk to School Day coming up next Wednesday, Feb. 23. Youngsters from across the state are encouraged to walk and roll safely with Strider and Viv, ODOT's comic book superheroes. Put on your snow or rain boots and walk or roll to school while enjoying winter time in Oregon!
We've got ideas to get everyone involved, safety tips for winter and suggestions for extra fun, like bringing along some hot chocolate! Anytime of year you can order safety materials featuring Strider and Viv, in English and Spanish.
