Oregon's Electronic Government Portal Advisory Board will meet at 8:50 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9 in conference room 110 of the Department of Fish and Wildlife, 4034 Fairview Industrial Dr. SE Salem, Oregon. The legislature established the advisory board with enactment of ORS 182.126-132. The board advises the State Chief Information Officer on key decisions and strategic choices about how the state CIO manages and operates Oregon state government's web portal services.

The Oregon.gov portal is the connection point for citizens to access state agency services and information on the Internet. "Web portal services" means providing the hosting, content management, electronic commerce, public collaboration and application development needed to operate and maintain Oregon.gov, online services and make payments over the web. The board provides oversight to specific websites, services and online payments where agencies choose to utilize the State Chief Information Officers E-Government Program as their service provider.
