Salem, Ore.: Oregon.gov is one of the top 10 most intuitive and functional state websites, according to the Center for Digital Government's 2015 Best of the Web awards announced this month: http://goo.gl/7fFfBp. This marks the second year in a row Oregon has made the cut.

"These winners are recognized for responsive and mobile-first design, open government, open data, improved transparency and integration with social media," said Todd Sander, executive director of the Center for Digital Government. "Congratulations to the awardees for their impressive work to make government more accessible and responsive to citizens"

Praise was offered for the mobile-first approach and resulting increase in mobile traffic. The center also recognized engagement with Oregon's disabled community to increase access for all. In addition, the state received kudos for use of an Instagram hashtag campaign (#MyOregon).
