I-35 ramps at SH-9 East close, SH-9E narrows in Norman tonight
The southbound I-35 ramp to eastbound SH-9 East and the southbound I-35 ramp from westbound SH-9E will be closed from 9 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Friday to relocate median barriers and re-stripe lanes as part of an ongoing project. East and westbound SH-9E will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between I-35 and McGee St and the northbound I-35 ramp from westbound SH-9E will also be intermittently closed during this time.
24th Ave. S.W. closes, turning restricted at SH-9 East beginning Friday
North and southbound 24th Ave. S.W. will be closed to through traffic at SH-9 East beginning 6 a.m. Friday and left turns will not be allowed at the intersection through September. Local traffic should use Lindsey St. to access 24th Ave. S.W. north of SH-9E or McGee Dr. and Riverside Dr. to access 24th Ave. S.W. south of SH-9E. Through traffic on east and westbound SH-9 East will not be affected.
I-35/SH-9 East/Lindsey St. interchange project in Norman continues until 2017
Work continues at the I-35 interchanges at Lindsey St. and SH-9 East and on SH-9 East at 24th Ave. S.W. in Norman through 2017 as part of an ongoing interchange reconstruction project. Speed limits are reduced and drivers should expect delays on I-35, especially during peak travel periods, and plan extra time or consider an alternate route such as SH-77H (Sooner Road).
The left lane of westbound I-40 will be closed at mile marker 128, two miles west of Banner Rd. from 6 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Friday for surface repairs.
Reno Ave. narrows, intermittently closes at Lincoln Blvd. Friday
East and westbound Reno Ave. will be narrowed to one lane in each direction at Lincoln Blvd. from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday for overhead bridge work as part of ongoing OKC Boulevard construction. Drivers can also expect short-term, intermittent closure of all lanes of Reno Ave. at Lincoln Blvd. during this time.
I-235, I-35, I-40 ramps and lanes close near downtown Oklahoma City Saturday
Drivers can expect the following ramp and lane closures from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday for overhead sign installation. Motorists should expect delays and are strongly encouraged to use an alternate route such as I-240 and I-44 or I-35.
The westbound I-40 ramp to northbound I-235 will be closed
The northbound I-235 off-ramps to Sheridan Ave. and Lincoln Blvd. will be closed
The northbound I-35 on-ramp from S.E. 15th St. will be closed
Northbound I-35/I-235 will be narrowed to one lane between S.E. 15th St. and Harrison Ave.
City streets narrowed, closed near I-235/N.E. 10th St./Harrison Ave. interchange through fall 2015
Drivers can expect the following city street lane closures for work associated with I-235/N.E. 10th St. interchange reconstruction and the new off-ramp to N.E. 10th St. project through fall 2015. More information: http://www.ok.gov/odot/I-235_Harrison.html
The intersection of N.E. 10th and Walnut Ave. will be a four-way stop through mid-August.
Westbound N.E. 8th St./Harrison Ave. is narrowed to one lane just east of I-235.
Walnut Ave. remains closed between N.E. 10th and N.E. 8th St./Harrison Ave.
S.E. 29th St. and Air Depot Blvd. intersection four-way stop through Sunday
The S.E. 29th St. and Air Depot Blvd. intersection in Midwest City is a four-way through Sunday as crews complete utility relocation work for an intersection reconstruction project beginning Monday. Message boards are in place leading up to the intersection to alert motorists to the changes.
SH-74 (Portland Ave.) narrowed at Memorial Road this week
The left lanes of north and southbound SH-74 (Portland Ave.) are closed just north of Memorial Rd. through the end of the week for construction of a temporary crossover as part of ongoing highway widening.
Left turn lane from N.W. 150th St. to SH-74 (Portland Ave.) closed through August
The westbound N.W. 150th dedicated left turn lane to southbound SH-74 (Portland Ave.) is closed through August as part of intersection reconstruction work. Motorists are still able to turn left onto SH-74. Westbound N.W. 150th traffic is able to continue westbound or turn left onto southbound SH-74. Drivers can expect lane shifts in this area for the next few weeks for ongoing intersection reconstruction.
Speed limit reduced on SH-74 (Portland Ave.) through spring 2016
The speed limit on northbound and southbound SH-74 is reduced to 35 mph between Memorial Rd. and north of N.W. 164th St. as part of an ongoing project to widen SH-74 in the area. The reduced speed limit will remain until the project is complete in spring 2016. Drivers should plan extra travel time and use caution in the work zone.
Classen Blvd. narrows at I-44 Belle Isle bridge this week
Drivers can expect various lane closures on Classen Blvd. under the I-44 Belle Isle bridge just north of N.W. Expressway through this week for ongoing bridge rehabilitation work.
I-44 ramps at Northwest Expressway closed at Belle Isle bridge through summer
The eastbound I-44 on-ramp from eastbound N.W. Expressway and the westbound I-44 off-ramp to N.W. Expressway are closed through summer. Drivers must locate an alternate route.
SH-152 (Airport Road) narrows at MacArthur Blvd. this week
The left lane of westbound SH-152 (Airport Road) between MacArthur Blvd. and S.W. 59th St. will close from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through the end of the week for cable barrier installation. The left lane of eastbound SH-152 between S.W. 59th St. and MacArthur Blvd. will also close from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through the end of the week for cable barrier installation.
I-40 narrows, ramps close in Midwest City this weekend
Drivers can expect various lane closures on westbound I-40 from just west of Air Depot Blvd. to just east of Town Center Drive from 6 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement resurfacing. Additionally, the westbound I-40 off-ramp to Town Center Drive and the westbound I-40 on-ramp from Air Depot Blvd. will be closed for short periods during this time. Motorists are advised to use caution throughout the work zone or locate an alternate route.
I-40 lanes narrowed, speed limit reduced in Midwest City through November
The left lane of eastbound I-40 is closed and speed limit on east and westbound I-40 is reduced to 50 mph between Hudiburg Dr. and the Hruskocy Gate through November for an ongoing resurfacing project.

Lincoln Blvd. narrowed near State Capitol through next week
Southbound Lincoln Blvd. remains narrowed to one lane at N.E. 30th St. through August 21 for ongoing utility work by the City of Oklahoma City.
33rd St. and US-77 (Broadway) intersection work continues in Edmond through summer 2016
Drivers can expect lane closures and shifts at 33rd St. and US-77/Broadway in Edmond through Summer 2016 for an intersection modification project. At least two lanes of north and southbound US-77/Broadway will remain open and at least one lane of east and westbound 33rd St. will remain open throughout the project.
I-44 speed limit reduced at SH-152 (Airport Rd.) through November
Lanes are narrowed and speed limit on westbound I-44 (going south) is reduced to 50 mph at the SH-152 (Airport Rd.) interchange through November for an ongoing resurfacing project.
Shields Blvd./E.K. Gaylord Blvd. and Compress Ave. closed, detoured near I-40 Crosstown through 2015; interstate access remains open
Northbound and southbound Shields Blvd./E.K. Gaylord Blvd. is closed to through traffic between Reno Ave. and S.W. 4th St. and traffic is detoured through 2015 for utility work and improvements for the Oklahoma City Boulevard in partnership with the City of Oklahoma City and OG&E. In addition, Compress Ave. is closed east of Gaylord Blvd. and South of Oklahoma Ave. in Bricktown as part of the construction of the new Boulevard.
Drivers still will have access to eastbound and westbound I-40 from Shields Blvd./E.K. Gaylord Blvd., or by using Western Ave. or I-235.
Southbound Shields Blvd./E.K. Gaylord Blvd. traffic is detoured west on Reno Ave., south on Robinson Ave. and east on S.W. 5th St.
Northbound Shields Blvd./E.K. Gaylord Blvd. traffic is detoured west on S.W. 4th St., north on Robinson Ave. and east on Reno Ave
Shields Blvd./E.K. Gaylord Blvd. traffic also may use Harvey Ave., Hudson Ave. or Walker Ave. to access the downtown area.
