Crown Equipment Corporation Receives the Champion of Inclusion
Award
from Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities
COLUMBUS,
OH
– Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities
(OOD) recognizes Crown Equipment Corporation as the 2018 Champion of Inclusion Award
winner for their commitment to the inclusion of individuals with disabilities
in the workplace, and for being a leader of diversity and inclusion best
practices in Ohio. The award honors companies that have hired at least five OOD
job seekers, and have also met specific criteria that demonstrates their level
of diversity and inclusion practices for individuals with disabilities in the
workplace.

shows other businesses what is possible when inclusion is a part of your

Crown Equipment Corporation is one of the
top five largest lift truck manufacturers in the world and employs over 4,000
Ohioans. Crown has collaborated with OOD on many diversity and inclusion
initiatives since 2015, including piloting an on-the-job training program this
year.
