Dear Climate Smart Community Leader:
Registration is now open for a workshop co-hosted by Energy Vision, Genesee Region Clean Communities, an affiliate of the Department of Energy Clean Cities program, and The Rochester Institute of Technology on November 7 -- The Power of Waste: Renewable Natural Gas as a Vehicle Fuel in New York State (See Agenda). The event will feature regional and national experts and case studies from the emerging organic waste-to-vehicle fuel industry, with a specific focus on the potential for New York communities, farms and companies to turn organic wastes into a clean fuel solution. Learn everything from how and where this ultra-low-carbon, fully sustainable fuel can be produced, to what can be done locally to explore a waste-to-fuel initiative, and what state and federal programs/incentives exist to support project development.
