Special Gathering for Charter School Leaders - Survey Response Needed

NCDPI will hold the Collaborative Conference for Student Achievement (CCSA) at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, NC on March 21-23. This unique professional development opportunity will feature 250 sessions with tracks for K-12 learning standards, K-12 online and blended learning structures, policy, research, accountability, student engagement, State technology resources, Home Base, and more.

The Office of Charter Schools (OCS) will be hosting a full day (morning and afternoon focus sessions) at the CCSA to provide an opportunity for charter school leaders to come together to learn and network. Please help us in designing the agenda for these special charter schools "focus sessions" so that they meet your needs! To this end, we ask that you please respond to these four questions by Thursday, January 28, 2016.

NC School Report Card: Data Preview Period Extended

We encountered some technical difficulties with the 2014-15 report card data preview.  As a result, the data preview period has been extended from yesterday afternoon until Monday, January 25, at 5:00 p.m.  You may view the site by accessing this link: https://ncreportcardstest.ondemand.sas.com/landing.html.  The data in the report card are considered preliminary and should not be made public, so we ask that you DO NOT RELEASE THIS URL TO ANYONE OUTSIDE OF YOUR SCHOOLS.  This is a test site and information and data are subject to change.  If you cannot view the SRC in your preferred browser, for the data preview please use Chrome.

How to Submit a Data Question/Issue During Data Preview:

Please note that the NC Department of Public Instruction will not accept requests for corrections from schools that did not meet deadlines for submitting data at the local level or submitted it incorrectly.

HELPFUL HINTS FOR SUBMITTING YOUR DATA QUESTIONS/ISSUES:

  • Submit your questions as you encounter them.
