The Appearance Commission, in support of the NCSU/City of Raleigh Urban Design Forum, invites you to a public lecture.

Design for Social Equity

What is the role of affordable housing in creating great urbanism and equitable, resilient cities? Using case studies, Ms. Torney will discuss design as a tool to soften distinctions between people of different ages, races and economic backgrounds, and as a means to create a beautiful and enduring public realm.
