Spotlight: East Side Arts Council's Busy December
The East Side Arts Council (ESAC) had a busy month of December with eleven ongoing after school classes for youth in Saint Paul Public Schools and at the East Side YMCA. Saint Paul K-12th graders developed skills in painting, sculpting, Hmong dance, urban sketching, hip hop dance, and drill team with the help of their seasoned professional artists. Everyone has been working hard gearing up for school showcases in January, eager to show off their performances and original artwork. After school programming for the spring semester will include additional classes in spoken word poetry, improv comedy, and breakdancing.

Presenters Wanted
This year's conference will be slightly different - we want the conference to reflect the rich knowledge and experience from within the Network. We want to utilize this knowledge and experience for the breakout sessions.
This year’s theme is Informed by Data. Inspired by Youth. Therefore, we are looking for breakout sessions that align with that theme. We also are challenging all presenters to engage a young person in preparing and implementing their session in a youth/adult partnership.
