Thank you all for your excitement about this year's conference -- you've packed the house! We'll be encouraging attendees to share their experience using the hashtag #SprocketsConf and those not in attendance are invited to follow and add to the conversation online!
Researchers from Chapin
Hall at the University of Chicago will be visiting Saint Paul as they conduct a study on the use of data in after-school
systems to improve youth outcomes. The study has been commissioned by the Wallace Foundation as part of its Next
Generation Initiative for after-school system building. If you have a compelling story you'd like to share about how you've worked with Sprockets to use data, you're encouraged to attend a post-conference gathering with the researchers at 1:45 pm on March 3 at St. Kate's.
The National League of Cities recently released this powerful video demonstrating why "afterschool
shouldn't be an afterthought," featuring mayors from across the nation,
including our own Mayor Chris Coleman and other local stakeholders.
