Keller Tee Sign

Ramsey County Parks and Recreation will publicly auction off old tee signs from Keller Golf Course next month as the extensive renovation project at the historic course nears completion. The auction will be held online through eBay starting at 9 p.m. CST on Nov. 10 and ending at 9 p.m. CST on Nov. 17.

A total of 32 signs will be up for auction. All signs are cast bronze and are signs that the County will not be able to reuse when Keller reopens. Seventeen primary tee signs will be available, including holes 2-18, along with 13 secondary tee signs and two directional signs. Primary tee signs are 16-by-24 inches, secondary tee signs are 12-by-18 inches and the directional signs are 12-by-12 inches. All signs will be sold individually. The signs were manufactured in 2004.

Minimum bids will be set at the meltdown value of the sign plus processing fees and shipping. Winning bidders will also have the option to pick up their sign from the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation administration building. All proceeds from the auction will help support preservation projects at Keller.

Questions about the auction can be directed to Ramsey County Parks and Recreation at 651-748-2500. Photos of the signs will be available with each auction listing.

Updates will be posted to www.RamseyCountyGolf.com in the “What’s New” section.
