Happy 4th of July!!
Join us for the next Active Living Ramsey Communities Quarterly Meeting
Monday, July 27, 2015 2:30 - 4:30 pm Roseville City Hall Willow Room 2660 Civic Center Drive Roseville, MN 55113
The next quarterly Active Living meeting is scheduled for Monday, July
27 at Roseville City Hall. In July, our contractor, Alta Planning and
Design, will have an initial draft ready for us to review and provide
feedback. Your participation will be important at this meeting.
Hopefully, you will feel it is worthwhile to have your community's needs
and perspectives reflected in the plan. Please invite other leaders,
practitioners and residents who might be interested.
Attention Bikers and Walkers!
Active Living Ramsey Communities, an initiative of Ramsey
County, is bringing people together to build a vibrant walkable and
bike-friendly community. We will be working together over the next year
to create our first-ever county-wide Pedestrian and Bicycle System Plan.

Did you know?
Regulatory speed limits on our local roads can only be changed after MnDOT authorizes it.
The local road authority (city, county, or township) can pass a resolution requesting an investigation by Mn/DOT. Based upon the results, Mn/DOT may then authorize the local road authority to post new speed limits.

Mental Health Awareness
Nearly 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. have a form of
mental illness, and 11 percent of adolescents have a depressive disorder
by age 18. Ramsey County Community Human Services provides a range of
programs to help county residents address mental health concerns: Adult Mental Health Services | Children’s Mental Health Services.
The stigma surrounding mental health is often a
barrier to seeking help. Community Human Services and Saint Paul –
Ramsey County Public Health recommend the Make It OK Campaign as a resource for the community to talk openly about mental illness.
