Born to Thrive Summit, Tuesday, December 9, 2014

This interactive and engaging event will identify cross-sector strategies for building healthy habits in young children. The focus is on identifying collaborative solutions for using existing resources and addressing the gaps in supports caregivers need. Healthy eating and active play in early childhood set the stage for school success and positive lifelong health habits. Conversely, poor early childhood nutrition, childhood obesity and lack of movement can have lasting impact on school success and adult health. Summit will be held at the TIES Event Center in St. Paul. Register online by Dec. 5, 2014.
