News release
Since 1983, Community Mediation & Restorative Services, Inc.
(CMRS) has helped Hennepin County residents move constructively from conflict
to resolution and from harm to healing through mediation and restorative
services. Using trained community mediators and facilitators, CMRS works
to address a broad range of disputes including: juvenile crime, housing,
consumer, family, neighborhood and workplace conflicts. Additionally,
CMRS provides high-quality training in mediation, restorative practices, and
conflict skills. The work of CMRS and its volunteers and partners continues to
change the way the community views and moves through conflict and harm. The
exhibit provides an overview of mediation and restorative processes and
services provided by CMRS.
The Hennepin Gallery is free and open to the public 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays
through Fridays at the Hennepin County Government Center, A-level, 300. S. 6th
St., Minneapolis. The exhibit is sponsored by Hennepin County Human Services
and Public Health Department. The Gallery is a project of Hennepin County
Communications.
