News release

Hennepin County cancels all voter registrations from Minneapolis address

In response to a petition filed with the Hennepin County Auditor’s Office on June 27,2014, regarding voter registrations at 419 Cedar Avenue South, Minneapolis, the Auditor has found that the address is for a mailbox center, not a residence, and that no one lives there.

All registrations at the address will be cancelled, and the address will no longer be accepted on voter registrations. In addition, both of the two absentee ballots submitted from the address for the 2014 primary election have been rejected.

The 141 people previously registered at the address may re-register to vote using their home addresses.
