Hennepin
County and its partner cities will hold community collection events this spring
for Minnetonka and St. Louis Park residents to safely dispose of unwanted garden
and household hazardous waste. Lawn and garden products, items containing mercury, and
fuel wastes are among the hazardous waste accepted from households. Business waste will not be accepted.
Please note: This year, the county will not be accepting
electronics at the collection events; only household hazardous waste will be
accepted.
Collection events will be held Thursdays through Saturdays
from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. each day:

Hennepin County also provides residents with drop-off facilities that
are open year-round at 1400 West 96th Street, Bloomington and 8100 Jefferson
Highway, Brooklyn Park.
