Hennepin County will offer five household hazardous waste collection events in 2015

Hennepin County and its partner cities will sponsor five separate three-day household hazardous waste collection events for residents in 2015. Accepted items will include household lawn and garden products, products containing mercury, and fuel waste. 

Hazardous wastes will be accepted from households only. The county will NOT be accepting electronics at the scheduled collection events, nor waste from businesses. 

Each collection event will take place between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday through Saturday:

Hennepin County also provides residents with drop-off facilities that are open year-round at 1400 W. 96th St., Bloomington and 8100 Jefferson Highway, Brooklyn Park.
