RESOURCES

Help With Tax Preparation

More than 250 free tax sites are opening throughout the state and thousands of volunteers who love tax prep are ready to help taxpayers claim 100% of the money they've earned.

Below are additional resources for you and the people you serve.

Find Internships and Resources at InternMatch

Find free downloadable résumé templates, cover letter guides, interview advice, and a large selection of paid internships in business and non-profits.

SciTechsperience, a Win-Win for Interns and Employers

SciTechsperience connects college students studying science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines to paid internships in small to mid-sized Minnesota companies. SciTechsperience internships offer students hands-on industry experience and an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. Qualified hiring companies receive a $1:$1 matching grant to cover 50% of the intern’s wages. The grant is capped at $2,500. SciTechsperience will support 125 internships in 2015. Program funding is provided by the State of Minnesota to build and retain the state’s STEM workforce. For more information, email Becky Siekmeier.
