Smiths Medical Announces Plans to Move to New Corporate Headquarters
A leading global medical device manufacturer plans to move the company’s global headquarters from Arden Hills, Minn to a new facility in Plymouth, Minn. The transition process is expected to begin in 2015 and be completed in 2016. The Plymouth site was selected after conducting a thorough search for suitable headquarters space.
Federal Package Network Moving Operations to Chanhassen
The Chaska company, which designs, manufacturers and fills containers for the health and beauty industry, is moving to expanded space in Chanhassen. Federal Package Network plans to invest $7.2M, and DEED will award the company $147,161 from the Minnesota Job Creation Fund.

The Minnesota Employment Review says the mining sector and related occupations are projected to grow by more than 12 percent between 2010-2020 -- and these projections have been surpassed.
