Park Industries Expanding in St. Cloud
Park Industries, which makes equipment for cutting, polishing and shaping natural and engineered stone, plans to add 33,760 sq. ft. of production space to its facility. To assist with the expansion, DEED awarded the company $624,000 from the Minnesota Job Creation Fund.

 The North Hennepin Community College Bioscience & Health Careers Center has just opened the doors to a new 65,000-sq. ft. facility to address the increasing need for bioscientists, nurses, and lab technicians. The center will offer a variety of courses, workforce training, and degree programs and include state-of-the-art laboratories and flexible classrooms for biology, chemistry, nursing, and medical lab technician programs. Grads will be interested in mn-bioscience.jobs, a bioscience jobs microsite developed by DEED, LifeScience Alley and the National Labor Exchange. There are nice features for job seekers, too: The microsite is mobile-enabled and search engine optimized and has social media-sharing capabilities.
