Homark Expanding in Red Lake Falls
Homark Homes is the latest Minnesota company to announce expansion plans after being approved for financial support from DEED's new Job Creation Fund. The company is planning a $6 million expansion that will create 19 jobs.
 The latest issue of Trends features a cover story on the growing demand for drivers in the trucking industry. Other stories look at employment rates for people with disabilities, labor market outcomes for people with post-secondary degrees and the six measures of unemployment compiled by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
 Kelby Carlson is a junior at Vanderbilt University pursuing a double major in music and philosophy. He has a full course load and is involved in activities like barber shop quartet and theater. He also participated in a State Services for the Blind program that helps students who are blind, visually impaired or DeafBlind prepare for college and careers.
