A $1 million forgiveable loan from DEED was among several factors that helped Brooklyn Park beat out Boston, Cleveland and Memphis for an expansion project by Olympus Surgical Technologies America.

DEED Launches Angel Loan Fund

Commissioner Sieben joined Gov. Mark Dayton last week in announcing a new loan fund that will offer startup businesses up to $250,000 in interest-free help. The goal is to have businesses attract private investments of $10 for every public dollar spent on the program.

DEED Awards Grants for At-Risk Youth
