Minnesota's Water Sector Survey: Be Counted

The state is analyzing the economic impact of Minnesota's water sector. As part of the work, officials are conducting a short survey (five to 10 minutes) to understand trends in water-related employment and barriers to industry growth.

Your participation will allow the state to better understand and articulate the importance of the sector to the Minnesota economy. Survey results will be reported only in aggregated form. No individual, company-specific information will be published or released.

To participate in the survey, go here or paste the following URL into your browser: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/2126464/WaterSurvey .

Upcoming Events

Riding the Wave of Water Innovation

Water scarcity and uncertainty poses growing risks for businesses and communities. A new era of creativity and technological advances is needed to ensure a sustainable water supply for every community. An upcoming forum at Faegre Baker Daniels in downtown Minneapolis will feature national and regional leaders discussing the opportunity for innovation to alleviate some of our nation's pressing water challenges. It's fitting that Minnesota, headwaters of the Mississippi River and home to a thriving water innovation cluster, will host this water innovation forum during Infrastructure Week 2015. Events across the country during Infrastructure Week will bring together stakeholders who will highlight the need to invest in and modernize America's infrastructure.

This event takes place Friday, May 15, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. and is open to the public. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.

The forum is hosted by Dow Water and Process Solutions and Value of Water Coalition
