The Coming Home Collaborative invites all who are interested in ministry with veterans and their families to lunch, network, and improve best practices.
As we develop a deeper and more complex understanding of the underlying root causes of violence against women and children, we have been challenged to examine our current approaches to engaging with men and boys. Understanding male socializa-tion and the history of childhood exposure to violence and trauma is critical to our ability to develop prevention and intervention responses that are humanistic & com-passionate and don’t minimize responsibility. Our presenters will share their passion for creating change, taking risks and believing in the possibility of healing and transformation for all.
